Lip Augmentation Chevy Chase

Full and vivacious lips have always been recognized as aesthetically important features. Some of us however, are born with thin, ill-defined lips. With lip enhancement, fat or other materials such as Restylane or Juvederm, are inserted into the lips providing a much fuller appearance. Patients lips will be fuller initially and will gradually reduce to the appropriate size over the following few weeks. This procedure usually lasts about one year but, in some patients, indefinitely. This procedure is usually performed in the office under local anesthesia. Full recovery to normal activity level typically takes about 2 weeks.
