IPL Treatments

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatments are designed to help improve the appearance of sunspots and to clear small facial vessels (telangiectasias).The IPL machine emits gentle pulses of light into the skin at specific wavelengths to target either sunspot pigmentation or microvessels. The skin absorbs the light energy which converts to heat and treats the targeted area.

Any area including the face, neck, arms, chest, back and legs can be treated effectively. The area directly around the eyes is not typically recommended for treatment.
